Estia Health Oakleigh East is a multi-level home that offers the convenience of private visitor parking, and a good variety of intimate and sociable communal spaces for our residents, families and friends to enjoy. An internet café, complete with coffee machine, vending machine and computer, is popular with residents and visitors alike. Our on-site salon offers opportunities for regular pampering, with a hairdresser visiting weekly and a massage therapist available on request. With a whole range of lifestyle activities available to our residents, there are many opportunities to learn new skills, enjoy a new pastime or make new friends.
Additional care
Well-balanced and nutritious meals are freshly prepared and cooked on site under the supervision of our professional chefs. A wide variety of health and wellbeing programs, designed by qualified coordinators, are tailored to each resident's personal needs. Allied health professionals such as physiotherapists and podiatrists are part of our support team, and hairdressers are on site as required. Importantly, we offer exceptional levels of care and service. Our staff are on call 24 hours a day to help out where required or just to share a quiet chat. We also offer a secure memory support unit dedicated to ongoing specialised care for those with higher care needs.
Common areas
Spacious communal dining areas in each of the wings offer opportunities for forming new friendships and enjoying conversations over a meal or beverage. Our pleasant lounge areas, featuring comfortable furnishings, flat screen televisions and relaxed seating, host the home's daily activities, celebrations and special services. And three landscaped and partially-shaded courtyards provide the perfect setting for chatting with friends or reading a book in a quiet sheltered corner. Outdoor seating, barbeques, pergolas and an array of seasonal flowers contribute to providing a natural and calming alfresco environment.
