Features
Estia Health Grovedale is near Victoria's surf coast, and close to shopping centres and the Geelong CBD. Situated in a quiet residential street, with ample onsite parking for visitors. A facility bus takes our residents on a range of outings and the daily newspaper can be organised on request.And our on-site salon, with visits from the hairdresser twice weekly, gives our residents opportunity for pampering. Visits from school children, veterans groups and kindergarten classes are popular events. And there are also monthly non-denominational services, and an appreciation of cultural diversity with the enjoyment of specific culture days.
Additional care
Well-balanced and nutritious meals are freshly prepared and cooked on site under the supervision of our professional chefs. A wide variety of health and wellbeing programs, designed by qualified coordinators, are tailored to each resident's personal needs. Allied health professionals such as physiotherapists and podiatrists are part of our support team. Importantly, we offer exceptional levels of care and service. Our staff are on call 24 hours a day to help out where required or just to share a quiet chat. We also offer a secure memory support unit dedicated to ongoing specialised care for those with higher care needs.
Common areas
Each of the separate units includes an intimate dining area, giving our residents the opportunity to build friendships and bond with their companions in a home-like atmosphere. Adjacent to these dining areas are bright lounge rooms, with cosy armchairs to nestle into with a good book and space to take part in the home's daily activities.And light-filled bay seating and sitting areas offer quieter spaces for our residents to enjoy the company of others or for some private time. External courtyards and landscaped private garden surrounds offer an array of outdoor seating for warmer days. And our residents are welcome to tend their own plants and pots in the gardens outside their rooms.
