Canberra Aged Care Facility (ACT)

Both The Lodge and Chifley Place are a great addition to the Canberra Aged Care building in Lyneham.

The Lodge and Chifley Place boast 42, well-appointed rooms that match Canberra Aged Care's vision of what Aged Care should be. As well as the private en-suite rooms, the facility is equipped with a number of common areas such as large lounge rooms, spacious dining room, a lot of outdoor areas including a covered breezeway, and a tea and coffee room for residents and visitors to use when they would like. Both of these beautiful areas were created just recently with The Lodge opening it's 28 rooms in April 2015 and Chifley Place opening in June 2018.

Registered nursing staff are rostered on 24-hours a day to cater for our resident’s needs. Our residents are attended to by certified nursing assistants at all times, delivering comfort both to the resident and to their families, who remain assured that their loved ones are in good hands. The registered nurses at Canberra Aged Care are highly experienced in aged care and they provide not only nursing care but more importantly, peace of mind and assurance both to the residents and to their families alike.

To assist the registered nurses, we have both Enrolled Nurses and Assistant Nurses. Canberra Aged Care has over ninety qualified and experienced staff on duty throughout the week to provide comfort to both the residents and the families.
