Fairway Hostel is a "not-for-profit" 62 bed residential aged care facility operated by Sandringham Aged Care Association Inc (SACA). A group of local citizens formed SACA in 1991 to lobby and address the need for a quality aged care facility in Sandringham.

At Fairway Hostel we employ personal care staff. Increasing our residents’ independence is accomplished with our staff’s support. We aim to improve the standard of living for all of our residents by employing caregivers who are patient and caring, and who work to increase our residents’ enjoyment of life. Our patient caregivers are available to assist with dressing, hygiene, mobility and exercise help, as well as eating and drinking aid.
Food and nutrition at Fairway Hostel
Dietary concerns are met at Fairway Hostel. Our state-of-the-art kitchen facilities provide specialty meals prepared in-house. Residents may either eat in their room when needed or can enjoy some company in the dining room, as individual needs are taken into consideration.
