Crossley House Hostel provides residential care for up to 30 residents, offering a home like environment with immediate access to the medical and health care services offered by YDHS.
Accommodation is in single person rooms, each room is ensuite. Crossley House has a large combined dining and lounge room with two smaller lounge room areas available to residents. The hostel has a large sunny outdoor area set-up to enable residents to comfortably take part in some light gardening activity. Residents are encouraged to maintain their independence by remaining connected with friends and family and their everyday relationships and associations. Our Leisure and Lifestyle staff offer a range of activities, both group and individual, designed to keep residents engaged and stimulated. All resident’s meals are prepared in our kitchen by YDHS food services staff under stringent food services standards and in consultation with a dietician ensuring resident’s nutritional requirements are met.
