Baptcare The Orchards Community - Doncaster East

The Orchards is a new commissioning site, opened in September 2017, located at 107 Andersons Creek Road, Doncaster East. The major development of the property is 150 bed Residential Aged Care (RAC) Facility, with the Baptist Church – Templestowe located across from the site. Our qualified and experienced staff provide the highest quality of nursing 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We cater for the changing needs of residents, ranging from lower-level care through to palliative care. Our residents and visitors enjoy the open plan dinning and lounge areas with natural lighting, enjoying a cup of coffee while enjoying the great views of Templestowe.

We are currently in the process of building Independent Living Units (ILU) at the back of the RAC site. This is to commence in the middle of the 2019 and will be completed in December 2020. It will have a restaurant, café and a little tuck shop for our RAC residents.

The Orchards is very modern with large open spaces, as well as smaller private areas, a lovely enclosed garden, single rooms with ensuite, with a modern homely feel. Some rooms overlook our attractive gardens while others overlook the beautiful trees along Andersons Creek Road. We offer a number of in-house activities including daily entertainment, music played on our two grand pianos, card making, pampering group, in house movies, physiotherapy-led activities and an on-site hairdresser twice a week. We have a strong pastoral care program and Chaplain support for the emotional and spiritual needs of residents of all faiths.
