We provide a variety of aged care accommodation options in Windsor, including single and shared bedrooms with ensuites. The open-plan design at Windsor enhances both physical and visual access, improving residents' quality of life and promoting independence, much like living at home.
Our 61-bed facility offers 'Ageing in Place' across two traditionally designed buildings, Palmer and Thorne. Both cottages feature sun-protected outdoor areas for dining, relaxing, or enjoying the outdoors. Additionally, our specially designed raised garden beds allow residents' families, especially grandchildren, to spend quality time with them in the gardens.
At Windsor, all meals are freshly prepared on-site daily, creating a homely environment reminiscent of everyday life.
Our distinctive lifestyle program at Windsor includes a variety of group and individual activities, such as cooking, music programs, art appreciation, art classes, and flexibility and fitness sessions. Wellness and enablement are further supported by access to a range of specialists, including a geriatrician, physiotherapist, speech pathologist, occupational therapist, and podiatrist.
Residents at Windsor benefit from our staff’s extensive knowledge and expertise in dementia care. Our team regularly undergoes training to refine their skills and provide the best possible care, respecting the individual choices of our residents.
As a dedicated nursing home for individuals living with dementia, Windsor provides 24-hour registered nursing support to meet the complex care and medical needs of residents requiring a higher level of care.
