St. Basil’s Kensington is close to public and private hospitals, churches, shops and is within easy walking distance to Centennial Park.

With 55 beds dedicated to aged care for the Greek and mainstream community, Kensington is a small site, which offers a warm and secure family-like environment. St. Basil’s Kensington provides permanent and respite care as well as dementia care in a secure dementia unit and our main priority is to treat all residents with dignity and respect.

At St. Basil’s Kensington a range of rooms choices are available including single and shared accommodation in a welcoming environment that encourages residents to engage in social and leisure activities.

Residents can enjoy their coffee and socialize with family and friends in our comfortable and inviting lounge and dining areas or take a walk outdoors around our relaxing and safe courtyards.

Our staff are bilingual and they always ensure that communication with our residents and their families is optimal, and that their needs are fulfilled.

Most importantly, the environment, the people, the visitors, the sounds, smells and tastes are familiar to people of Greek heritage. We celebrate all the Greek national, religious and other cultural days with warmth and enthusiasm, appropriate to the expectations of our community, who visit us regularly.
