Small residential aged care facility (42 beds) Cessnock, NSW
Jacaranda Grove Hostel is a low care facility of 42 beds. This means that people who have received an ACAT low care assessment are eligible for placement.
However, our facility also allows for 'ageing in place' which means that a majority of residents are able to remain with us as their needs increase (become high care) rather than having to transfer elsewhere. This facility also incorporates Magnolia Wing, a 12 bed unit catering specifically to the needs of cognitively challenged residents most of whom require a secure environment.
42 Low Care Residential Care Beds:
• All are single rooms with en suites
• This also includes a 12 bed dementia specific / secure unit called Magnolia Cottage
• There are included in these 42 beds two respite beds for carer respite.
