Kal'ang Respite Care Centre Aboriginal Corporation is a Not-For-Profit Organisation dedicated to caring for our Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Community Elders.We recognise that community members aged 50 years or over are considered Elders in light of lower life expectancy of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We provide Home Care Services to the elderly community who are approved for a Level 1-4 Home Care Package.Kal'ang works in partnership with you, your Carer and your loved ones to assist you to achieve your goals aimed at supporting your existing skills and learning new skills.In doing so your independence and autonomy is supported and your quality of life is enhanced.We ensure cultural sensitivity and appropriateness in Service Delivery we also Encourage cultural revival and preservation. Our Services include Support in the Home, Shopping, Lawn Maintenance, Medical Appointments Social Support and Community gatherings and Outings.
