All of us have busy lives and it's easy to get caught up in the rush of day to day life. At a pivotal point in my life, I had a revelation about the people around me which cultured a curiosity about who people are and why they do the things they do. Through this I discovered the value in small exchanges and that, the generosity and warmth that can come from reaching out, which really takes very little effort.
So, when it came time to move on from a job in a large corporation, I decided that I wanted to work somewhere that was more about people and had a mission greater than profit.
This is the reason I joined DailyCare. I was keen to help build something from the ground up and be part of a team that was addressing an area of growing importance in our society. Collectively, we are all growing older, and there is a lot more that technology can do to give to and support people with the right information and services.
We believe in the power of stories to illuminate and educate. Through sharing our experiences of getting older and caring for those around us, we can help each other navigate the challenges we will all face at some stage in our lives.
